Happy Thanksgiving Eve! So, I’m officially on vacation, the temperatures have dropped here in south Florida, and the holiday excitement has set in… These upcoming weeks are especially special. Not only are Dan and I spending this holiday season together for the first time, but we get to spend them as newly weds! We are spending our first Thanksgiving with his family over in Naples, so….
If you’re like me and need to sharpen up your holiday entertaining & decorating skills, or just need some tips and tricks to make the day go smooth, here are a few of my favorite links to help out!
- A Guide for Setting the Table via Camille Styles / Jennifer Rose Smith
- Thanksgiving Solved via Martha Stewart
- Building a Thanksgiving Centerpiece via Cupcakes and Cashmere / Holly Vesecky
Here’s a little extra tip from me: Always, always, always bring a host/hostess gift! My go-to is a bottle of wine or flowers, but you can pick anything you know your host will love! It’s a great and thoughtful way to thank them for inviting you to their home.
I hope you have a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving! xo

Three flights and about twenty hours later, we arrive in Tel Aviv! And once the wheels hit the tarmac, it was all business. We hustled through customs to baggage claim, hopped on our tour bus, and to our first site we went. It was to the city of Joppa along Mediterranean coast. After touring the area, we checked into our hotel – around 8 PM.
A fabulous Shabbat Friday night dinner could not have been a better welcome! Followed by drinks with friends and cigars outside listening to the waves crash on the coast, talking about the days ahead, was the best way to end the journey there and the best beginning of what was to come.
